A €58,000 colt by Flemensfirth was the star turn on the second session of the Tattersalls Ireland November National Hunt Sale where the focus switched to the all-important foal section of the sale.

On a day when prices at the head of the market were largely similar to last year Gearoid Costelloe, acting for owner Carl Hinchy, signed for the top lot when he entered the fray late on for the Portduff Stud-owned colt. The half-brother to three winners is out of a Supreme Leader mare whose siblings are headed by the Grade 2-winning chaser Wee Robbie.
