A first for Hayes

WHEN Brian Hayes (27) won the last race at Gowran Park last Saturday on My Direction it was his first win as a professional although he has won plenty as an amateur. Brian is from Rosscarberry and has no family background in racing but got into the game through West Cork trainer, Thomas O’Leary, twice a winner of the Thystes Chase with Preists Leap.
