PLENTY of horse racing punters and fans alike are already backing their own Royal Ascot tips for the approaching event, but for those who are still recovering from the drama that came from similar festivals on the calendar, it can be hard to keep up with all the action.

The summer holds plenty of different horse racing events and thousands of horses competing. Most horse racing websites need to put a shift in just to keep up and The Winners Enclosure are a solid example of that, as they provide their own Royal Ascot tips, as well as a whole range of horse racing bets, odds and previews on a daily basis.

We’ve taken a brief look at some of the favourites from Royal Ascot and why they’re seen as being dangerous in their runs:

Tuesday 19th June - Kings Stand Stakes at 3:40

Battaash at 3/1 – Leading as joint-favourite to win the Kings Stand Stakes on the opening day of Royal Ascot, Battaash is looking all but set to finish first. Bookmakers currently tie them with the same odds as Lady Aurelia, who had two wins and three places for four wins, which is impressive but marginally inferior to the four wins and six places from nine runs seen from Battaash. It’s also a horse that won at Chantilly by four lengths last October, so it’s seen as being one to watch by a lot of experts.

Wednesday 20th June – Prince of Wales Stakes at 4:20

Cracksman at 5/4 – Now a prolific winner, Cracksman is becoming a favourite in the world of horse racing after winning the Investec Derby Trail, the Great Voltigeur Stakes, the Prix Neil, the Champions Stakes and scooping some prestigious individual awards over 2017 alone. This year has already seen a win for the nag, as he finished first in the Prix Ganay back at the end of April. With all other horses in contention operating between odds of 5/1 and 66/1, Cracksman is a clear favourite at 5/4 odds and it’s clear to see why.

Thursday 21st June – Ascot Gold Cup

Order Of St George at 11/4 – Opting for experience over form seems to be the trend for the highly-anticipated Ascot Gold Cup, with Order Of St George being a solid favourite with odds of 11/4. This horse has had twenty-one professional runs and has won over half of them, finishing first on 12 occasions and placing in seventeen to take an incredible 80% place ratio. Second favourite Stradivarius has only run a total of nine times and it looks like there’s no stopping Order Of St George right now.

Friday 22nd June – Commonwealth Cup

US Navy Flag at 6/1 – This works as the highest price horse in contention throughout this list but that’s more telling of the Commonwealth Cup, which sees horses with prices ranging from 6/1 to 100/1 out of the seventy set to take part. US Navy Flag is almost priced at half the odds of joint-second favourites Different League, Expert Eye, Heartache, James Garfield, Raid and Sioux Nation, and it looks like the best of a bad bunch.

Saturday 23rd June – Diamond Jubilee

Harry Angel at 7/2 – It all comes down to the final day at Royal Ascot and, even with the understandable competitive approach that these jockeys will have to battling it out in their last chance of a win, the Diamond Jubilee is set for Harry Angel to snatch first place. Harry Angel has four wins and seven places from eight runs, amounting to a 50%-win ratio and an almost 90%-win ratio.
