THE 99th Saratoga Yearling Sale conducted by Fasig-Tipton ended with new sale records for the average and median. Trade was selective but there were a number of highlights. The sale toppers appeared during the second session, a pair of colts by two-time Horse of the Year Curlin who sold for $1,500,000 each.

The first foal out of champion Scat Daddy mare Wapi was also first to reach the mark. The triumvirate of Aquis Farm AUS, Let’s Go Stable and Crawford Farm purchased the colt who was bred by Don Alberto Corporation and Three Chimneys Farm.
