FEATURING among a massive 17 classes were the first rounds of the popular ISH Studbook age classes for five and six-year-olds.

Twenty horses went to post in the older sector which delivered back-to-back wins for Orla Cassidy’s Whitetree Ribera, ably ridden by Nicola Ennis. The Co Meath-based pair were well placed in second spot on the flat (22.5) before producing a smart double clear round. Their victory crowned a great week for Ashbourne-based Cassidy, who aside from winning an amateur division later the same afternoon, had also headed the five-year-old young event horse class at Balmoral a few days earlier.
