IN a relatively short space of time, Andrew and Laura Napier saw their dream of staging a one-day event at Hazeldene turn into a reality with a cross-country course which, on its debut last Saturday, was praised from those competing at Novice down to EI90 level.

As the Napier family’s Hazeldene Farm has developed to running a competition livery yard and competition centre in tandem to rearing cattle and sheep, a huge amount of work has been undertaken by Andrew who, according to Laura, “works at the speed of 10 men!”
