A FEATURE of this year’s Stepping Stones to Success League at Wexford Equestrian is the consistency of the results with few horses breaking into the top placings since round one.

Joan O’Connor’s Greenhall Granuaile had last week off as rider Sarah Ennis was on her way to Belton Park for the international but the Frankfort Boy mare won the TopSpec four-year-old class for the third time on Wednesday. She is on 18 points going into next week’s final, two points ahead of the Heidi Hamilton-owned and ridden Johan-Some who won in the mare’s absence but has been second to the grey every time they clashed.
