FRUSTRATED as he is to be relegated to the sidelines through injury, Michael McNally is immensely proud and
delighted with the way in which his fiancée, Amanda Goldsbury, has stepped up to take over many of his mounts and the former Grand Prix dressage rider recorded her first success at EI110 level at Killossery Lodge Stud last Saturday.

It was only towards the end of March that New Zealand-born Goldsbury posted her first EI100 win at Clyda (1) on Right On Q and it was with the same six-year-old Castlecomer Q mare that she led throughout Section A on Saturday, completing on her joint-winning flat work mark of 30.5 (penalties). Adam Haugh finished second, on his dressage score, with the nine-year-old OBOS Quality 004 mare Stovehavens Star Quality (33.5), while Commandant Terence White who was also on 30.5 after dressage, had two surprising stops on course with Garrybritt Dignified.
