THE good ground which has caused such frustration to so many within the sport all autumn is showing no sign of relenting, with its disruption now so significant that two-thirds of all four-year-olds that hold a current hunter certificate, having not yet run this season.

Last week the IHRB announced that ground conditions had forced the West Waterford point-to-point at Boulta, which was due to be run tomorrow, to be rescheduled until December 16th. This will have the effect of extending the autumn season by one additional week.
