MUCH surrounding the short term future of point-to-point racing remains uncertain as the suspension of racing between the flags extends into another month. One of the fixtures that has been claimed by the current impasse is the Knockanard meeting which was due to have taken place last month.

The track, which is situated just four miles outside of Fermoy, Co. Cork, played host to the impressive winning debut of last year’s Cheltenham Champion Bumper victor Ferny Hollow in 2019, with other graded winners such as Up For Review, Joaaci, Benefit Night, Footy Facts and For Bill among the other names to have emerged from it in the past two decades.
