FOLLOWING the BHA’s announcement on Tuesday morning to suspend all British racing for a six-week period until the end of April, officials have cancelled the remainder of the British point-to-point season which had been due to run until June 13th.

That is a big loss for all involved, when it is considered that April and May forms the bulk of the British pointing season, with approximately 100 fixtures, which equates the total of the Irish season, originally scheduled for these final three months.
