TREO Eile, the organisation which assists in the rehoming and retraining of ex-racehorses and unraced thoroughbreds and promotes their exploits outside racing, sponsored a prize for the leading thoroughbred in eight of the 13 classes at last weekend’s Horse Sport Ireland Eventing Ireland National Championships in Lisgarvan.

The horses who secured a €200 cash prize for their connections were: Quingenti (Luca Stubington) in the Connolly’s Red Mills EI120, Red Raclette (Jonny Steele) in the NutriScience EI110, Murphs Legend (Amy Lambert) in the HSI EI110 (J), Road To Emmaus (Cliodhna Brennan) in the Eventing Ireland EI100 (J), Garrybritt Susie (Terence White) in the Tredstep Ireland EI100, Trucking Along (Amy Walsh) in the Eventing Ireland EI90 (Amateur) and Selaron Steps (Orlaith Delamere) in the Eventing Ireland EI90.
