WHAT a week it has been. Racing in Britain is back and thank goodness for that. There have been acres or print and comment on the matter, with everyone suddenly being experts about the subject. Nothing like a few headlines to stir up emotions and get everyone talking.

Few of the critics of the action taken by the British Horseracing Authority have ever had to make a decision that had the potential for such far reaching consequences. The BHA were damned if they stopped racing, and ran a greater risk if they did not and equine flu spread.
