ENGLISH raider Ummalnar blew away her opposition in stunning style to take the featured Listed Irish Stallion Farms EBF Cooley Stakes at Dundalk last Friday week night in the colours of Mohammed Jaber.

The William Haggas-trained filly made all in the one-mile contest to run out an easy winner under Chris Hayes, at odds of 100/30. The writing was on the wall for her rivals early in the straight and the daughter of Shamardal kicked clear over a furlong out to post a six-length winning margin over Surrounding. “She was very impressive. She’s gorgeous to look at, she’s a fine big filly,” said Hayes.
