THE first Irish race meeting to be staged behind closed doors still had quite a familiar feel to it as Joseph O’Brien’s relentless drive for winners through the winter season continued with a double which was headed by the useful Dark Vader in the three-year-old, six-furlong conditions race.

Already a dual winner at Dundalk through the winter and an unlucky second at Lingfield last month, the 92-rated son of Dark Angel took advantage of a good opportunity under apprentice Dylan Browne McMonagle.
