P.J. CASEY dominated the TopSpec show hunter section of this year’s Dublin Horse Show where he not rode and produced the supreme champion, as he did last year, but also the reserve and one other young horse who got through to final judging.

The supreme champion, owned by Casey’s wife Sonya, was the four-year-old Crown Star who, in the Main Arena last Saturday morning, first won the heavyweight title. The bay gelding, whose progress through the session was closely followed in the stands by Jill Day and Robert Walker, is the only animal registered on CapallOir by the Irish Sport Horse Shannonview Star, a show jumping son of Guidam out of a Cavalier Royale mare.
