IRELAND's Dane Rawlins and the 11-year-old Westphalian gelding Espoire scored 70.410% to place seventh in the Grand Prix Kür (Freestyle to Music) class at the three-star show in Le Mans, France on Saturday.

Making her big tour Irish international senior debut, Alex Baker (24) scored 66.770% with the 12-year-old KWPN gelding Dutchman for 10th place. French rider Nicole Favereau (Ginsengue) secured a home win on 74.980% just fractions ahead of the 74.940% total of Dutch international Thamar Zweistra (El Macho Malo). Portugal's Carlos Pinto (La Gesse Sultao Menezes) completed the podium scoring 71.120% for third place.

Pony rider Martha Jobling-Purser's score of 67.973% with Valido's Starlight proved good enough for ninth place in a competitive FEI Pony individual test class with over 20 starters. British pony rider Isobel Lickley and Mister Snowman won the class on 72.342% total.
