FOR the second time in the space of 24 hours, Irish dressage star Judy Reynolds has claimed a fifth place finish at the Belgian World Cup fixture in Mechelen, this time in the FEI World Cup Dressage Freestyle to Music.

Riding the Joe and Kathleen Reynolds-owned gelding Vancouver K, Judy recorded an excellent score of 78.570% which briefly put them into third position.

Victory for the second day in-a-row went to Hans Peter Minderhoud (NED) with Glock’s Dream Boy N.O.P. on a score of 83.665%.

This weekend marked Reynolds and Vancouver K’s first outing on the international stage since September’s World Equestrian Games in Tryon, USA and their first indoor appearance since the 2017 FEI World Cup Final in Omaha, USA where they finished fourth.
