ENTRIES in the qualifying classes were so large for the fourth leg of the Horse Sport Ireland/Dressage Ireland Autumn Development Series that no warm-up classes were held in the National Horse Sport Arena at Abbottstown last Sunday.
“Entries throughout the series have been excellent for a number of reasons,” said DI board member Mark Ruddock who was supported as show organiser by Marguerite McSweeney and Sarah Mellor while Petra Larkin arranged all the volunteers. “We didn’t have a national championships this year, the Irish-bred classes are proving extremely popular and there is very good prize money on offer.”
