EDWARD DOYLE reminded everyone why he consistently remains at the top of Irish National show jumping by producing a superb jump-off round to win Saturday’s Cavan County Council international jump-off class last weekend.

Doyle was riding the nine-year-old stallion Mullaghdrin Touch the Stars. Bred by Noel Cawley, he is by Touchdown out of the Irco Mena mare Irco Rain. “We’re delighted with him; the track was made for him. He has a really big stride so we could make up ground from fences one to two and also in the gallop to the last, the track really suited us.
