FORMER Danish international event rider turned racehorse trainer Dot Love had a busy weekend, visiting Tyrella on Saturday but staying closer to home on Sunday when attending the Westmeath Foxhounds’ point-to-point at Castletown-Geoghegan.

On Saturday, she ventured north with fellow Co Westmeath resident Charlotte Walshe, whose daughter Sofie won the EI100J class on the thoroughbred gelding Heisacoolhand. They completed on their dressage score of 30.3 penalties, as did Co Meath’s Caoimhe Eivers and Wilderwood Superhero, who were too quick across the country.
