FRUSTRATINGLY for those who have toured the country in a bid to qualify for the small event horse class at the RDS but have still failed to do so, Angela Dennehy made a winning seasonal debut with Greenfort Chocolata at the Tullymurry.

Emma McNamara’s seven-year-old Sovereign Water gelding qualified for Dublin last August but was unable to meet his engagement. A year on, he has increased his Eventing Ireland points to 20, most recently finishing 35th (on his dressage score of 58.5) in the CCIYH* at Tattersalls international horse trials.
