CRYSTAL Ocean has been ruled out of the Breeders’ Cup Turf after suffering a setback.

The Sir Michael Stoute-trained four-year-old was due to fly out to America with a group of 22 horses from England on Friday, but was found to be lame.

A stable spokeswoman told www.attheraces.com: “Crystal Ocean is not going. He is lame and the issue is under investigation.”

Crystal Ocean finished a six-length second to Cracksman in last week’s Champion Stakes at Ascot and also claimed second in the King George earlier this term.
