TULSA JACK topped the poll for the Grand Alliance Racing Club and Noel Meade when exploiting his lenient mark to come home in style in last Sunday’s Paddy Power Cork Grand National under seven pound claimer Jonathan Moore.

The 5/1 favourite made his move with four fences remaining to go a close second behind Kylecrue at the next. In front before two out the lightly-weighted son of Urban Ocean was clear on the run to the final obstacle and, despite concerns about the ground (officially soft, soft to heavy in places) was 12 lengths too good for another feather-weight Clar Na Mionn at the line. There were only four other finishers.
