John Walsh's charge has found himself in a good run of form of late and enjoyed his finest hour here, comfortably holding off Morga to record a one-length success. The 7-1 shot was one of a few in with a chance when taking over from Ballyadam Brook at the penultimate flight of hurdles but he quickened up much the best before pulling out a bit more when challenged by Morga inside the final 200 yards.
