LAST week in these pages I wrote that a big televised Christmas Show was on the cards and, although no officially announcement was made as we went to press, industry leaders are believed to be looking forward to the major event and high profile Irish riders based abroad will travel home for the show.

Getting national show jumping back on mainstream television for the first time in years, international jumping at the Dublin Horse Show aside of course, will be huge, a really big deal. One of the main reasons sports like racing and GAA were allowed to continue through Level 5 was because they were entertaining people at home.
