ON his first outing over fences since departing early on in the 2018 Cheltenham Gold Cup, the Willie Mullins-trained Bachasson was the star of the show at the last Irish racing fixture before possibly April 19th as he dominated the Download The BoyleSports App Chase with a display of enthusiasm and quick jumping.

Just 13 days after running an excellent sixth in the Coral Cup at Cheltenham, the Edward O’Connell-owned grey was returned at 4/6 to see off a field headed by the former dual Grade 1 scorer Death Duty, who was also returning to action following an outing at Prestbury Park.
