Dear Connemara Pony Friends,

The atmosphere around the town of Clifden and Connemara is not the same this year – an air of sadness prevails. The normal washing and grooming of ponies, meeting and greeting and sheer excitement generated by show week is absent. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the CPBS, like many other shows and festivals around the country has had to cancel, the first time in the show’s long history since 1924!
