GURRAN Broadway proved to be a very lucky buy for Paul Clarke after he landed the supreme championship at the Irish Draught Horse Breeders’ Association National Show in Punchestown last Saturday.

Purchased from M.J. Kavanagh in Wexford just two months ago, the 11-year-old looked an absolute picture on the day, winning her stinted mares’ class and the mare championship, before going on to land the ultimate crown at the end of a busy day in Punchestown.
