THERE is huge scope for improving safety across country by changing the way so many people do their dressage training.

At the International Eventing Forum at Hartpury, Britain, earlier this year Christoph Hess, who is an FEI international judge in both dressage and eventing, a judge educator and currently the Head of Instruction at the DOKR, or German National Federation, explained his philosophy.
