THE Ferryman, a full-brother to recent Newmarket maiden winner Aloft, was among the winners at last Sunday’s Zhejiang Nine Dragons Hill National Jockeys Challenge in China.

Winner of a Tipperary maiden in 2012 when trained by Aidan O’Brien, The Ferryman (by Galileo out of Dietrich) was ridden last weekend by Darryll Holland to win the five-furlong Sir Owen Glenn Spring Cup. In second place came another visiting rider, David Flores. The remaining three races were won by Chinese jockeys.
