She’s still in training, but Irish event rider Caroline Bjoerk has already made an amazing start to her fundraising campaign for Spinal Degeneration Research at Beaumont Hospital after hosting a highly entertaining evening with Liam O’Flynn and friends at her home in Dollanstown Stud, Co Meath last Saturday night.
Caroline plans a 330km walk, starting at the Alcock and Brown monument in Clifden, Connemara on March 23rd and ending at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin on April 5th. That’s quite an ambition for someone whose debilitating back pain has interfered with her sporting career for many years now.
