Superb course building from Co Meath’s Tom Holden resulted in a fascinating fourth round of the Horseware/TRM National Grand Prix League at Barnadown last weekend, where Vincent Byrne and Mr Rockefeller collected their second win of the series.

Despite mixed weather leading up to the three-day fixture, ground conditions at Barnadown were just about perfect, including in the main grass arena, which has benefited from extensive drainage works carried out over the winter by Maurice Cousins and his team.
