GODOLPHIN have enjoyed a highly successful campaign with their juveniles and the Acclamation newcomer Spring Cosmos, 9/2, improved things still further in the British Stallion Studs EBF Maiden Fillies’ Stakes over six furlongs.

William Buick always had her towards the head of affairs in the centre group and she then moved through to lead overall. Keeping on well, she had just over a length to spare over another promising debutante, Charlie Hills’ Indicia, at the line. It is notoriously difficult to gauge the value of form in races like this on the July Course but Spring Cosmos looks to have a bright future.
