CHAMPION jockey Silvestre De Sousa was in good form this weekend riding four winners. The champion jockey is retained by King Power Racing this year and three of the four wins came in the now familiar blue and white silks.

De Sousa kicked off by taking a 10-furlong maiden on Andrew Balding’s even-money favourite Bangkok at Doncaster on Saturday. However, it was at the same track on Sunday that the Brazilian rider cut loose, reeling off a treble on King Power pair Fox Champion (Richard Hannon) and Good Birthday (Balding), and in the Middleham Park silks on Right Action.
