AT Goodwood on Saturday, trainer David Simcock sent out the first two in the Listed Daisy Warwick Stakes over a mile and half for fillies and mares.

Bateel started at 15/8 favourite after winning all three of her starts but it was stable-companion Carnachy, 10/1, a grey four-year-old by Mastercraftsman, who got first run for Sean Levey going to the two-furlong marker and kept on stoutly to hold the market leader by a length and a half.
