BADEN won the New Stand Handicap Hurdle at Fairyhouse on December 3rd, 1994. It was a blacktype race and the mare, a daughter of the Boardsmill Stud stallion Furry Glen, was ridden by Tommy Treacy for Paddy Mullins and carrying the colours of her owner/breeder Max Hauri.

The six-year-old held the challenge of another six-year-old Double Symphony, also by a Boardsmill stallion in Orchestra, by a neck and the runner-up was trained by Aidan O’Brien and the mount of Charlie Swan. The first pair home were two of the three mares among the 11 runners for this two-mile contest, the other, Mayasta, finished fifth.
