BRED by Mary McCabe, Silver Forever (Jeremy) was sent out by the breeder’s husband Kieran Roche to land a four-year-old mares’ maiden at Bartlemy on her debut in May 2018. She carried the colours that day of publican Michael Kenny and she was impressive, winning by 10 lengths. Silver Forever was withdrawn from her intended appointment at a sale days later, but she next appeared in the Paul Nicholls yard and her career has taken off since.

Silver Forever has won a pair of bumpers and was placed in a couple of listed races. Now she has added valuable blacktype with her victory in a listed mares’ hurdle at Sandown, and she may yet progress further. In time she will be a most attractive broodmare. She is the best of four winners for her unraced dam Silver Prayer (Roselier) who was purchased by McCabe for €20,000 as a five-year-old. Silver Prayer is the dam of four winners, while there are a couple of young stock yet to hit the racecourse. Her most recent offspring is a yearling filly, born when her dam was 20, by Centaurian (Galileo).
