PAUL Nataf paid €75,000 for a colt foal by Acclamation (Royal Applause) at the Arqana December Sale last year, and this year he also signed for the colt in a private transaction at the company’s August Yearling Sale.

He will have no reason to regret either transaction after the colt’s year older half-sister Rocques (Lawman) won the Group 3 Prix d’Aumale at ParisLongchamp recently, her third success from as many outings.
