THE first foals by dual Group 1 winner Farhh are on the ground and will surely be among the most anticipated at the sales later this year. He stood his first two seasons at Dalham Hall at a fee of £12,000 and his first book of mares included sisters to Mastercraftsman, Dubawi and Dubai Millennium.

While Farhh’s best season was as a five-year-old, when he won both his starts in the Lockinge and Champion Stakes, he also won on his only outings at two and three. He was a horse who improved with the years and his sole victory at four was in the Thirsk Hunt Cup over a mile, but he finished second in four Group 1s, to Frankel in the Juddmonte International and the Sussex Stakes, to Nathaniel in the Eclipse Stakes and to Moonlight Cloud in the Prix du Moulin.
