PRIMA Luce has had a very colourful auction record to date, being presented for sale on three occasions and, unusually enough, increasing in value each time she was sold.

Bred by John Connaughton she was first sold through Jacqueline Norris’ Jockey Hall Stud as a yearling where the BBA Ireland paid 270,000gns for her on behalf of Jim Bolger and John Corcoran. The daughter of Galileo was trained at Coolcullen and won at two and three years, notably taking the Group 3 Athasi Stakes in her second season. She was also placed a couple of times in blacktype races.
