KEN Parkhill crops up again on these pages thanks to breeding one of the last three bumper winners in Ireland before the temporary cessation of racing. Major Robinson, a €20,000 sale to the Crawford Brothers at the Derby Sale last year, won on his debut at Thurles in the hands of Jamie Codd and looks to be the sort who could go on to become a very smart runner.

He is the second produce of his unraced dam Annalore (Milan), being preceded by a Getaway filly (Monsun) and followed by a three-year-old son of Jet Away (Cape Cross), as well as a two-year-old colt and a yearling colt by Elusive Pimpernel (Elusive Quality). Last year she was covered again by Jet Away.
