STAR yearling King’s Legacy (Redoute’s Choice) made the headlines in this column a fortnight ago when he beat he beat Prague to win the seven-furlong Group 1 ATC Sires’ Produce Stakes at Rosehill. Suited by the step up in trip, he showed that he was just as good over a mile last weekend when he added the Group 1 Moet & Chandon Champagne Stakes over a mile on Saturday at Randwick.

Now the winner of half of his six starts, including a Group 3 over six furlongs, he boosted his earnings to more than Aus$880,000, while by landing the final two legs of what is known as the Juvenile Triple Crown, he attracted the attention and investment of Coolmore as a stallion prospect for the future.
