LA Petite Coco is one of five stakes winners for her sire Ruler Of The World (Galileo), and one of three who come from his third crop which are now three-year-olds. She might not possess the quality of the sire’s best runner, Iridessa, but she has time on her side.

At the weekend she beat Love and the Group 1 winner Thundering Nights to win the Group 2 Moyglare “Jewels” Blandford Stakes, and it would be reasonable to suggest that she could ascend to Group 1 class in due course. Owned by Team Valor, the USA will likely be on the agenda for some tasty prizes in time.
