THERE is no shortage of two-year-old talent about, and the past week has seen many probable stars of the future stake their claim to some early racing glory.

Closest to home was the victory of Straight Answer in the Listed Blenheim Stakes at Fairyhouse. The Ger Lyons-trained colt is a Juddmonte-bred son of Kodiac (Danehill), and he was following up his debut win, also over six furlongs, at the Curragh with a near six-length rout of the opposition this time.
