Aidan O'Brien has left just two horses, Black Sea and Bravery, in the Prix du Jockey Club at the second forfeit for the French Derby at Chantilly on Sunday.

The Ballydoyle trained has removed eight from the list, nearly all of which remain in Saturday's Investec Derby.

The Epsom Classic was also an option for Bravery, who was fourth in the Irish 2,000 Guineas but not for Black Sea. He was well-beaten in the Dante Stakes at York.

The John Gosden-trained Foundation, who was third in that race won by Wings Of Desire at York, is one of four possibles from the UK along with Richard Hannon's Ventura Storm and Algometer. The David Simcock-trained colt still holds an entry in the Epsom Derby.

The fourth representative is Harry Dunlop's French-bred colt Robin Of Navan, who has had six of his seven starts across the English Channel.

The French contingent includes the Alain de Royer-Dupre-trained Zarak, who lost his unbeaten record when fifth in the French 2,000 Guineas, Jean Claude-Rouget's Group 2 winner Mekhtaal and the Andre Fabre-trained pair of Floodlight and Talismanic, who are owned by Godolphin.

Roger Charlton says he will supplement recent Newbury handicap winner Imperial Aviator on Thursday.

Also on the card Maarek is one of 10 runners still in the Group 2 Prix Gros Chene over five furlongs.
