On Monday Jack Frost intervened causing the cancellation of the final day of the National Coursing meeting. It is hoped to conclude tomorrow (Sunday) in Powerstown Park.
This annual gathering in Clonmel affords all attendees the opportunity to acquaint and reacquaint. There are only two race meeting festivals in my opinion that compare with it – Galway and Listowel. The coursing brings together people, young and old, from all parts of the globe. I am aware of two individuals from Brisbane, Australia, who have attended religiously for the last 15 years.
