A BRILLIANT Festival for Gavin Cromwell reached its zenith with a treble that was headed by a one-two in the €50,000 Fast Shipping Bellewstown Handicap Hurdle where Ming Dynasty outpointed Ejayteekay to prompt thoughts of a bid for far great riches next month.

It was only last year that Cromwell registered his first Bellewstown Festival success as a trainer but it was all change last week as the trainer fired in seven winners over the four days. That septet, which was preceded by a double in Scotland on Tuesday, was headed by the Martin Hannan-owned Ming Dynasty.
