A REGULAR visitor to Ballindenisk over the years under her maiden name Johnston, Kirsty Chabert recorded her first win at the Co Cork venue last weekend when landing the Horse Sport Ireland CCI2*-S with her own Opposition Aphrodite.

The nine-year-old bay mare was bred by the rider’s father John Johnston at the family’s Landford Common Stud in the New Forest, home of Team Opposition and three stallions including the Ballindenisk winner’s sire, Opposition Heracles.
