THE much loved owner-trainer Udyta Clarke is in a critical but stable condition at the Monash Hospital in Melbourne having suffered a hypertensive brain bleed. Clarke was found unresponsive on her Cranbourne property Monday night and was rushed to hospital. By Wednesday she was showing some responsive signs and moved from ICU.

The 72-year-old won hearts with her emotional post-race interviews, particularly through the deeds of Rich Charm who won nine races including the Group 2 Linlithgow Stakes on Victoria Derby Day in 2017.
